Event details - "République" exhibition by Gérard Rondeau

The «République» exhibition invites visitors on a photographic journey to the heart of France and its symbols. Ten years after Gérard Rondeau's death, this retrospective showcases a selection of his emblematic political photographs, echoing his eponymous book co-written in 2011 with journalist Raphaëlle Bacqué.

Curated by his wife, the exhibition features black and white portraits and scenes that reflect the photographer's sensitive view of French political life. Each image reveals both the strength of the personalities and the subtleties of everyday political life.

Free admission: Come and discover the work of one of the major photographers of our time, and plunge into the history of the French Republic through his lens.
